Music From the High Plains of Laramie
Drawing inspiration from the windswept landscapes of Wyoming and the people who inhabit these wild spaces, Ten Cent Stranger tells musical stories of our place and time.
Originally formed in 2015 as a way to survive the long, harsh Laramie winter, the band drew musicians from a number of established acts in the local and regional scene.
From the storytelling-songwriting of singer/guitarist Bob Lefevre, the songs flourished with the powerhouse vocals of Laniece Schleicher.
Jack Clarendon rounds out the melodic element of the Ten Cent sound on fiddle, while the rhythm section of Shawn Hess on bass and Mike Krupp on drums keep the whole gang in time.
